Goal

Merge all items on the board into their correct groups. Every item belongs to exactly one category. The category name is a mystery until the whole group is completed. Find all the groups to win!

How to Play

• Click any item to select it (highlighted in red).
• Click a second item to attempt a merge:
  • ✓ Correct — the items merge into one button at the position of the second item clicked. The merged button shows all grouped items in bold, separated by semicolons.
  • ✗ Wrong — the second item shakes. Your first selection stays active so you can try again immediately.
• When all items in a category are merged, the group is completed, turns a unique color, and reveals the category name.
• Complete every category to win — fireworks included!

Viewing Grouped Items

• Merged buttons show all grouped items in bold, separated by semicolons.
• A merged button with 4 or more items shows a red [N] badge in the corner — click it to see the full list in a popup.
• A completed category button (colored) can always be clicked to view all its items and the category name.
• Buttons stay the same size regardless of board size. Scroll right if the board is wider than your screen.

Header Buttons

Selection Indicator

When you select an item, its name (or all grouped items if it's a cluster) appears in orange near the top of the screen preceded by a ▶ symbol. This reminds you what you have selected even after scrolling away from it.

Scoring & Leaderboard

• Score — total successful merges made.
• Mistakes — total incorrect merge attempts.
• When you complete all groups, fireworks launch and you'll be prompted to enter your name to save your score to the leaderboard.
• The leaderboard tracks Name, Score, Mistakes, and Date — sorted by highest score, then fewest mistakes.
• Progress is automatically saved in your browser and restored when you reopen the file.

Game Editor

• Click ✏ Edit Game and enter the password to access the editor.
• Add categories and type one item per line in the items box. A live counter shows how many items are in the current category.
• Use Export JSON to save your game to a file (you'll be prompted to name it).
• Use Import JSON to load a previously exported game into the editor.
• Click ▶ Start Game to save the game to your library and launch it immediately.

Game Library

• Click ↺ New Game to open the game picker and choose from your saved games.
• Use 📂 Load a JSON file from disk in the picker to add any exported JSON to your library.
• The filename is used as the game title in the picker.
• Simple Test and Erin's Game are permanent built-in games and cannot be deleted.
